Book Discussions for Adults
The library’s adult book discussion will be held Tuesday, March 18th at 6:30 p.m. This month’s selection is The Rebel Wife by Taylor Polites.
Although it is recommended that participants read the book prior to the meeting, it’s not a requirement. New attendees are always welcome!
Talking Heads Discussion Group
The Talking Heads discussion group offers two lectures on Friday mornings. Using The Great Courses Series from The Teaching Company, participants watch a 30-minute DVD lecture and then open the floor for discussion. Participants may attend one or both sessions.
- Great Ideas of Philosophy at 9:00 a.m.
- Skeptic’s Guide to American History at 10:00 a.m. on March 7th and March 14th.
- Optimizing Brain Fitness at 10:00 a.m. begins March 21st and continues for the rest of the Spring session.
The Talking Heads program is free and open to the public—new people are always welcome to attend.
