Book Discussions for Adults
The library’s adult book discussion will be held Tuesday, April 15th at 6:30 p.m. This month’s selection is A Land More Kind Than Home by Wiley Cash. Copies of the book are available for purchase or check out at the library.
Although it is recommended that participants read the book prior to the meeting, it’s not a requirement. New attendees are always welcome!
Talking Heads Discussion Group
The Talking Heads discussion group offers two lectures on Friday mornings. Using The Great Courses Series from The Teaching Company, participants watch a 30-minute DVD lecture and then open the floor for discussion. Participants may attend one or both sessions.
- Great Ideas of Philosophy at 9:00 a.m.
- Optimizing Brain Fitness at 10:00 a.m.
The Talking Heads program is free and open to the public—new people are always welcome to attend.
