Discussion Groups at Pittsburg Public Library
Monthly Adult Book Discussion
The monthly book discussion will be held on Tuesday, September 15th at 6:30 p.m. This month’s title is The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown.
The library hosts a book discussion on the third Tuesday of every month. Books are available for purchase or checkout at the library.
Talking Heads Discussion Group will resume in September
The Talking Heads discussion group will start the fall session on Friday, September 11th. Participants may attend one or both sessions at 9:00 and 10:00 a.m.
Using The Great Courses Series from The Teaching Company, participants watch a 30-minute DVD lecture and then open the floor for discussion. Topics change often and vary throughout the year.
The current discussion topics are Great Ideas of Psychology at 9:00 a.m. and Great Philosophical Debates: Free Will & Determinism at 10:00 a.m.
