Discussion Groups at Pittsburg Public Library
Monthly Adult Book Discussion
The library’s adult book discussion will be held on Tuesday, June 16th at 6:30 p.m.
This month selection is The Storied Life of AJ Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin. Discussion books are available for purchase or check out at the library and new participants are always welcome.
The library hosts a book discussion on the third Tuesday of each month. New participants are always welcome!
Talking Heads Discussion Group will resume in September
The Talking Heads discussion group offers two lectures on Friday mornings. Using The Great Courses Series from The Teaching Company, participants watch a 30-minute DVD lecture and then open the floor for discussion. Participants may attend one or both sessions.
The Talking Heads program is free and open to the public—new people are always welcome. After the summer break, the discussion group will start again in September 2015 with new topics.
