Public Access ComputingPublic Access Computing

Public computers are located throughout the library. The 2nd floor Computer Lab is open to users age 18 and older. Lab users are limited to one hour of usage, per person, per day.


Computers for young adults (6th through 12th grades) are located in the YA Room on the 1st floor.


The Youth Services Department also has computers available for youth and their parents. In youth areas, time is limited.


All Internet access is filtered, and patrons must use web-based e-mail accounts to send and receive messages on library computers. All public computers AUTOMATICALLY SHUT DOWN 10-minutes before the library closes.

Users must abide by the library’s
Computer & Internet Usage Policy.


Library computers use the Windows 7 operating system. Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox browsers are available.

Wireless Access

For wireless access, users should connect to: ppl.guest, available during library hours. No password is required.

Wireless internet access AUTOMATICALLY SHUTS DOWN 10-minutes before the library closes.
