PPL Foundation
The Pittsburg Public Library Foundation was formed in 1999. In the year 2000, an endowment was established to help ensure that the library would have adequate funding for years to come. Unless otherwise specified, all monetary gifts to the library become part of this endowment.

Funds Management
In 2003, the Foundation Board voted to combine efforts with the Pittsburg Area Community Foundation, in an effort to strengthen both organizations. The PACF, which now includes the library endowment, is affiliated with the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, which provides professional financial management of funds in all the affiliated foundations.
Financial Gifts
The PPL Foundation is chartered in Kansas as a 501(c)3 organization to receive charitable gifts. Contributions should be sent to the Pittsburg Public Library Foundation at the library's address. Donations may be given anonymously or in memory or honor of someone at your request.
